Cansat

CanSats are miniature satellites that fit inside a soft drink can's volume.

Students at academic institutions can use CanSats to get hands-on experience building, integrating, testing, launching, analysing, and presenting data.

CanSat is a scaled model of a conventional satellite, and the students must fit all of the major subsystems found in a satellite, such as the power source, sensors, payload, and communication system, inside a soft drink can's minimal volume. The CanSat would then be launched by a drone, and students' task would be to conduct a scientific experiment before landing it safely.
