Small Satellite Development
ITCA draws on its members' enormous knowledge to assist their mentored organisations in designing, developing, and manufacturing small satellites that adhere to the CubeSat standard.
CanSats
CanSats are miniature satellites that fit inside a soft drink can's volume. Students at academic institutions can use CanSats to get hands-on experience building, integrating, testing, launching, analysing, and presenting data.
Development and Training
ITCA's SpaceTech team is made up of veterans of the Indian space programme as well as domain experts from the global and Indian aerospace industries, who can distil and share their practical experience from multiple projects with students in schools, colleges, and engineering education institutions to help them complete student-built CubeSat missions on time.
75 Satellites Mission
The Mission aims to have students from various universities /institutions build and launch small satellites (SmallSats) into low earth orbit (LEO). It was envisioned 75 satellites to be launched to commemorate seventy-five years of Indian independence (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 1947-2022), seventy-five institutions will launch their student built SmallSats.
